Suspicion that Aviation Minister Stella Oduah might not have actually
procured the controversial N255million armoured cars is gaining
traction in the nation’s security circle, with operatives trying to
understand whether the minister merely masterminded a paper process to
launder public funds.
The House of Representatives Committee on Aviation has ordered
Aviation Minister Stella Oduah to appear before it by next Tuesday when
its investigation into the armoured car scandal in the Ministry will
come to an end.
President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday set up a three-man administrative panel of inquiry to probe the embattled Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah, over the purchase of two bullet-proof BMW cars worth $1.6m (about N255m) by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority on her orders
