We'll Shock PDP in 2015 - APC Leaders

Notable leaders of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC have said the ruling party at the federal level, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will be shocked by its mass rejection by Nigerians in the 2015 elections.
The party leaders who spoke in Lagos weekend vowed that the imminent defeat of the PDP in the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections in June and August respectively would serve as a foretaste of what awaited PDP in the 2015 general elections.

Atiku will return, PDP says

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday, reacted to the defection of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

PDP deputy national chairman, Uche Secondus while reacting to the development, described Atiku’s defection as a voyage that at the end of the day would end in his return to the PDP.
Secondus, who spoke at the PDP national woman leader’s strategic consultative workshop with women in media and communication, said he believes strongly that Atiku will come back to the PDP as this is not the first time he is leaving the party.

PDP to Tambuwal: Declare seats of 37 lawmakers vacant

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Waziri Tambuwal to declare the 37 seats of its members who have defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) vacant without delay.

No compromise on national unity – PDP

Alhaji Muktari Mapia, the Deputy Treasurer of the Peoples’ Democratic Party ( PDP) in Sokoto State, on Tuesday said that there was no compromise on the unity of Nigeria.

Mapia spoke against the background of issues for discussion at national conference proposed by President Goodluck Jonathan.
