LA Fashion Week host catwalks & style-related activities

Once again, the just concluded edition of Los Angeles Fashion Week hosted an array of catwalk shows and other style-related activities, organized in different parts of the most populous city of California, US.
 
Internationally renowned designer Sue Wong featured her latest Spring/Summer 2014 delicate lace and flowing chiffon laden collection Jazz Babies at the event. Decorated with soutache embroidery, polka dots and beading, the 73-piece line was inspired from the famous Roaring Twenties of the post World War I era. Based in muted shades of pink, lilac, black and beige, the range featured exquisitely draped floor length ball gowns, cocktail dresses and bejewelled bodices.
 
Fashion label Bohemian Society, from designer Victor Wilde, showcased a military-style collection made from parachute, diaphanous, gauzy and twill fabrics. Designed in primary tones of black and white, the range included cargo pocketed pants, curve-hugging dresses, hoodies with asymmetrical zippers and fastener-festooned duster-length unisex coats.
 
Local designer Ina Soltani featured a heavy on sequins, crystals and ostrich feather trims red-carpet worthy collection, comprised of glamorous little black dresses and glitzy mermaid gowns in black, off-white, metallic, red and cobalt hues, at the glitzy soiree.
 
Paris-based talent Malan Breton offered deftly tailored suits, jackets, slim shorts and cropped pants for men and leather corsets and lace gowns in pink, blue, lavender, red and electric blue hues for women.
 
In addition to the endless runway shows, held under the events like Vintage fashion Expo, Men’s Fashion Week LA and Style Fashion Week, the 10-day-long fashion week also conducted conferences, award shows and fundraising events.
